"Reaching lads for Jesus Christ, engaging them in effective Christian living"

Urban Saints Guildford (USG) is an active and vibrant youth group for boys in Years 5 - 13. Through various games, activities, outings, and camps, we aim to have fun and let “lads be lads” whilst exploring how Jesus and the bible are relevant to us today.

At Urban Saints Guildford we are passionate about working with young people, helping them to realise their God-given potential as they journey to adulthood. Underpinning all our work is the strong belief that the Christian faith works today and that Jesus Christ was speaking the truth when He said that He offers the very best, most fulfilling life. To this end …

Our passion is to see lads in Guildford become Christians, who can thrive independently of Urban Saints Guildford and who are committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We do this by Reaching Lads for Jesus Christ, Engaging them in Effective Christian Living.

Throughout our work, Urban Saints Guildford endeavours to maintain our values…

Riotous Fun, Adventurous Faith, Genuine Friendships and Life in all its Fullness

What goes on on a Friday Night?

On a Friday evening from 18:30 we run the Junior Section for boys in Years 5 - 7.

From 19:30, the older lads can arrive at the hall for the all-together games. During this time, there is a main activity held in the Hall/Stoke Park, the Junior room will be open for Inter and Senior lads to bundle in whilst the Senior room is open for some quieter activities with space for lads to chat and catch up with friends and leaders.

At around 20:00, a short talk is held which wraps up this part of the evening at which point the Juniors are collected at 20:15

At 20:15, the Inters (Yr 8 - 10) and the Seniors (Yr 11 - 13) break into Keenite Groups where they head off to homes across Guildford for Food, Bible Study and Small-Group discussions.

The Urban Saints Hall can be found at the end of Stoke Park next to Guildfordians Rugby Club.

This is the main meeting location for USG’s activities.
